What's Your Name Again? Megatron

I know everyone is so excited about the new Transformers movie sequel no.3: Dark of The Moon. My office mate had watched it. And I don't want to know him at the moment. *envy* Haha.

There are a lot of entries about it too. Overall says it was a OK and worth to watch. However, I don't find any enthusiasm in those entries. Wonder why? Is it not good or best as previous?

So today, I get into facebook wanted to know about friends who had went to see the movie. *Awesome, superb, OK lah, Not bad, hot chick, poor bumblebee* all those it their status. And not forgetting, some people had created a group in facebook to name their child or nephew as MEGATRON. *shake my head*

There was something similar to in too in 2010, whereby a relative made a group 'If 1m people sign up to my group my sister will name her baby 'Megatron'.

Please parents-to-be. Why would you want to choose a 'weird' name for your children? I understand if you want your child to have a unique, the only one who could have that name on earth or you just want your child to be in the source of attention. Seriously parents, please think about it. Many of the names you desire your kids to have is somewhat ridiculous and have no meaning. Please think about them when they grow up. Attending job interview for instance.

Interviewer: Your name?
Interviewee: Megatron.
Interviewer: Say what?
Interviewee: M-E-G-A-T-R-O-N

We are living in a weird world after all.

P/S: Kiddo keep on asking me if I can bring him to watch the movie. He said, we watch together, as for daddy.. he can download it. Sounds too familiar, isn't it Mr. Fruitheart?

Just The Two of Us: Day 10 Without Mr. Fruitheart

Ten days has passed. So many things happen, no time to update. Do you know how does it feel without Internet for four days? Especially when you have only channel 612 on Astro to watch? Indescribable.

Kiddo had fever for five days since Sunday night. Suddenly he had it, no cough or cold or flu. So Monday he didn't go to school. Same goes on Tuesday. He went to school only on Wednesday. Later that evening I saw him looking so fatigue and his eyes a bit red. I brought him to the other doctor. He suspected viral fever. He advised me if the fever doesn't go away on Friday, I better bring him to the hospital for blood test. That is totally what I am afraid of.

On Friday night, the fever got worse and I brought him to KPJ Tawakal the next day. Confirm. Doc said he had viral fever and tonsil infection (tonsillitis). And the previous medicine was not good enough to kill the virus. Oh brother. So he had to stay in the hospital for few days.

Day one

Day two

Day three

Day four. Early morning

Just before discharge
As promised, we went to KLCC to buy toys- Transformers. Two! Kiddo will not be going to school until Thursday. Rest at home. Mommy? Go to work, what else.

P/S: We missed you daddy. Please come back soon. Love, mommy and kiddo.

Oh No! It's Report Card Day

How many of you like the day? If you like it, you must be the top ten scorer in your class. Me? I am OK with the day, because only once or twice my father went to school to get it. Haha. The rest, he said.. 'Just tell your teacher, your father is busy working and please pass it to you.'

Maybe some of you got the same answer and experience during your school days. All those funny things happen during that day or after we got back from school. How we got the killer look from our father, the no-TV-until-end-of-year stare. Remember? And some even hide it and much worse, forged their parents signature. True isn't it? And NO. I have not done that.

Today is the day first time in my whole life being a parent, I went to kiddo school to get his report card. For some unknown reason, I am nervous. It is not me who took the exam. Am I afraid if my kid doesn't perform well in school? Which makes me feel uneasy? Not sure. Well, the feelings gone when I stepped into the class - 1 Arif. Phew!

Kiddo's class teacher is a lady. She recognized me, WOW! I'm impressed. Last time I saw her was on the day first day I registered kiddo to school. Very good memory. I sat down and she showed me kiddo's report card.

Wohoo! I am a proud mommy. Number six out of 30. Bravo! Bravo! Proud of course, in top 10 list. (OK enough Fara, stop bragging about it so much) Hehe. He scored 90 for English. Whoa.. well done my boy. He got 3A, 2B. That two B's are errmm.. oh I'm ashamed to tell. Bahasa Melayu *blush* Same like mommy's result for UPSR. *double blush*.

P/S: Name je orang Melayu, tapi Bahasa Melayu tak score. Tak 1 Malaysia betul.

Just The Two of Us: Day 5 Without Mr. Fruitheart

It has been five days since Mr. Fruitheart left Malaysia. He's doing good, alhamdulillah. He's homesick. That's what he said. And my kiddo? He has fever since Sunday night. Until today, he is still weak. He said he missed daddy, that is why he has fever. Awww.

I worked from home on Monday. Started my work as early as 6 am. Taking care or kiddo at the same time while doing my work. Too much too do, not enough time. Stressed.

Why is it that I feel I can't do things now? I used to do all by myself, and now I felt like I QUIT. Changes of hormone maybe? 9th July please come faster.

Family Vacation: Kota Kinabalu, Sabah Day 4

Time flies when we're having fun. It's our final day here in KK, Sabah. There are places in my list that we don't have the chance to go like Filipino Market. We just passed by it on the night when we were back from our driving trip.

Early morning after packing few things and breakfast, we went to the pool. Bright sunny day again today. Enjoying our last day, feeling the gentle sea breeze. It was really a nice beautiful day.

It says Jellyfish season. Run!!

We checked out at 1 pm. Had lunch at a restaurant near Wisma Merdeka. Then, we took a tour inside the mall and went to Suria Plaza. Nothing much different than the shopping mall in KL. Kiddo complained he was tired and we decided to go back to the hotel and went to airport. We waited for the shuttle bus and reached the hotel at 4 pm.

Rest for while at the lobby before we went for our last sight seeing of the hotel. Took few shots at Magellan Sutera Harbour.

We had our early dinner at KFC. Our flight was supposed to depart at 8.05 pm, but it was delayed until 8.30 pm. We landed safely at the LCCT terminal at 11 pm. Guess who was on the same flight as us? Adam, the singer from reality ASTRO TV show, Akademi Fantasia. Wearing all black. He was alone.

Every Love Story Is Beautiful

Sharing this lovely quotes with all. Got this form TheQuoteWhore in Twitter.

A happy man marries the girl he loves; a happier man loves the girl he marries.

Three A's to keep your girlfriend: Affection, Adoration, & Attention.

Three C's to keep a relationship: Communication, Commitment, & Care.

The most romantic story is not Romeo and Juliet, who died together, but grandpa and grandma, who grew old together.

Closeness doesn't come when you are together. It comes when you are apart and realize that despite not seeing, you never stop remembering.

When two people are meant for each other, no time is too long, no distance is too far & no one can ever tear them apart.

Family Vacation: Kota Kinabalu, Sabah Day 3

The weather in Sutera Harbour looks good. Bright and sunny clear blue sky. A good day for us to go island hopping like what we have planned. We paid RM260 for the three of us. Expensive huh?

We took the 9.30 am boat with seven other people who were mostly Korean tourists. First stop, Mamutik Island. One of the five islands which is the smallest of all five. Only 15 acres. Since we have been to a better beach so far.. like in Phi Phi island,we found it so-so. Malay says, OK LAH. Not much spot to snorkel, there were lots of people during this school holidays. We went into the blue and green water, oh and some part we could see 'plastic fishes'.

Don't know what fish is that. I called it long fish

The 'blue plastic' fish
Hehe.. You know, all those plastic bags. Although not a lot, but it's a shame some people don't know how to maintain cleanliness. After an hour there, we decided to go to the next island.

Manukan Island is the second largest in the park. It's kind of the same. Well all beaches are also the same too aren't they? They have water, trees and people. Hehe.. But Manukan Island has some good beaches. There are also chalets, few restaurants and swimming pool. Much more facilities than Mamutik Island.

After taking few shots of the place, we left at around 1 pm. There we other three islands there; Pulau Gaya, Pulau Sapi and Pulau Sulug. The largest is Pulau Gaya. We hope to go to the other islands if we plan to have our vacation here again.

As soon as we reached the pool, picked the very best spot there we ordered burger and fries from the pool bar. As you already know the price at the hotel was totally CRAZILY expensive. Six sticks of 'satay' for RM26?! Huh!

When it's cold it's too cold and when it's hot, too hot too handle. We hang out by the pool until 5pm to cool off. Mr. Fruitheart went for a spa treatment. Guess what, RM330! Luxurious treatment. We can see the sky is getting darker. Oh boy, it's going to be raining tonight. We we too tired to dine in the cafe,so we ordered some food and ate in the room. Ended the night watching rain through our bedroom window. Lovely.

2011: Happy Father's Day

Happy Father's Day To All Daddies, Father, Grandfather, 'Ayah', 'Bapa', 'Papa', 'Abi', 'Babah' out there. No matter what your children calls you, you deserve a very special attention on this day.

Special wish to my beloved father, Mr. Nawawi. You've been a good father to me from the day I was born until now. I really appreciate everything that you have provided me, love and care. There's no one could ever replace you as my father.

To my husband, thank you so much for being the daddy of kiddo. Thank you for everything you've done, all those thing you've provided him. Love, attention and care.

Food Review: Ben's KLCC

Last Thursday, the three of us went to Ben's KLCC for dinner. The new outlet located at first floor of KLCC. Finally I got the chance to eat there after few times nagging Mr. Fruitheart.. Hehe. I love the place. The environment is awesome, posh and relaxing. Simple, nice and clean decoration. We chose to seat the comfortable sofa near the bar where we can view the KLCC fountain.

Poor image of the iPhone
The waiter came and we ordered fries for kiddo as usual, spaghetti for me and chicken for Mr.Fruitheart. Fresh orange and Italian coffee for our drinks. Kiddo only had sky-juice. No 100 plus or 'sirap' there. Sorry I don't remember the full name. Was busy with something else. Food was served fast. Big portion and we shared. The waiter that served us was really helpful and always smile.

My order

Kiddo's fave
Mr. Fruitheart's order
Mine taste was so-so. Liked the chicken and mashed potato they made for Mr. Fruitheart. Creamy and tasty.

Total all RM100. Quite expensive huh? Definitely can go there again, but not every month.

Just The Two of Us: Day 1 Without Mr. Fruitheart

The challenges started. Yesterday, we sent Mr. Fruitheart to the airport. He left us for Norway. Sob sob.. Three weeks. This is the first time we were apart after nine months of married. Both me and kiddo, cried. But kiddo cried much more than his mommy. Hehe..But that doesn't mean I am not sad OK.

There's nothing much we did today. I'm at my parents house, still re-arranging my their stuff. Moving to a new house is sure one tiring thing. Have few boxes that need to unpack. Maybe when I come back next week will do that.

Mr. Fruitheart has arrived safely in Oslo, Norway at around 5 pm Malaysia time. I was napping at that time, yeah my favourite hobby during weekend. He told me the place was cold and he was enjoying his sight seeing.

Later after dinner, we chat through YM. Kiddo missed daddy so much. So do mommy. Another 21 days. He sent some pictures.

Friday Humor: The Difference Between 'COMPLETE' & 'FINISH'

I have very free friends who likes to forward humor emails. Enjoy.

The difference between 'COMPLETE' & 'FINISH'.
People say there is no difference between 'COMPLETE' & 'FINISH'.

But there is!

When you marry the right one, you are COMPLETE.
And when you marry the wrong one, you are FINISHED.
And when the "right one" catches you with the "wrong one", you are "COMPLETELY FINISHED"!!

And that is your English lesson for the day.

Nora Elena Finale

I have a fever!

Nora Elena fever. If Justin Bieber had Bieber Fever, so does this story. Nora Elena Fever. TV3 akasia slot which aired from 7pm to 8pm, Monday to Thursday. As most fans already know, this week is the final episode. Only 24 episode for this drama. Short huh?

Today I reached home at 7.30pm, missed the first half show. Later after dinner, I watched it at tonton. Lucky this time I can get it. Hehe.

So hot and pissed of Yvonne. Still want to mess up with Seth marriage. She really made me hate her with her acting. Haha, emotional woman! At last, she got fired. Finally! Seth should have done that long time ago. Eh eh.. the script was like that why I want to change it? If not I am not so crazy over the drama right? Hehe. Good job producer. If you're planning to make a movie, I am sure will watch it. But, please make sure it was worth to watch. As for tomorrow finale, will read my twitter timeline and also watch through tonton. Will be back really late.

P/S: I know it will be happy ending. Yeah!

Human Nature: How Honest Are You?

Honesty is telling the truth, being sincere, truthful and trustworthy with integrity. Ask yourself, how honest are you? No need to admit here, or tell the whole world in a blog that you're a liar or confess anything OK. Just keep the answer to yourself.

Being honest lets other people know they can trust you
There are people among us who cannot accept the fact that they've done a mistake and blaming others instead. I have faced that a lot. It bugs me. Seriously, I made myself and my brain to think about this kind of people when I have the power to let it go. Yes, they will talked behind you, bitching about you. Mr. Fruitheart was right, why do you have to think about it so hard, when you actually have something else much worth to think or do?
People twisting stories just to make them good and make other people feel sorry for them is another attitude. The Malay says 'PUTAR ALAM PUNYA ORANG'. Oh and they feel offended when they're being blame for their own mistakes. They don't like to accept what others told about them is true. On top of that, kept doing the same thing and expect people to still tolerate with it?

it's a bit emotional entry don't you think? There are others who faced the same thing as this. The different is, how you handle it and move on.

My quote of the day: “People will always talk about you, especially when they envy you and the life you live. Let them. You affected their lives, they didn't affect yours.”

Family Vacation: Kota Kinabalu, Sabah Day 2

The day when we supposed to go snorkeling and island hopping cancelled due to rain. The famous Tunku Abdul Rahman Park was in the list. So we decided to rent a car and drove off to Kinabalu Park. We were given a Wira, RM180 for 24 hours.

It is approximately 86KM from Sutera Harbour. As you know there are no highway here. Only long, winding, up down hill road. Back to nature, left right filled with green and small trees. It's cold too. Couldn't remember the exact place, where patchy fog mixed with rain slowed our progress. I think when we are close to the place. We can still see the signboard and using GPS we reached the place after 2 hours drive.

Fog

Fog and rain. Construction in the progress
Not much to see only hills, flowers and fog. Plus it's cold. I have to admit, the view was incredibly superb beautiful! After one hour there, we drove too Poring Hot Spring.

The front view

We left it there

Poring Hotspring
Kids having fun at open pool

You can choose to have private bathroom too
It was still raining when we reached to our second destination. 45KM from Kinabalu Park. A lot of people went there, families with kids, couples and tourists. The pool were all occupied. We went to walk up hill about 280m to the canopy walkway. Tiring! Kiddo has been a good boy, not complaining. Only a bit. He cried when he crossed the hanging bridge.

No, this big by don't cry
Stopped by the souvenir shops outside along the road side, which is opposite the hot spring. Bought few key chains. Nothing much to buy there.

Next stop, Sabah Tea

It was already 3.45PM when we reached our final destination. Mr. Fruitheart said we need to reach the hotel before it's dark.

View from the Sabah Tea cafe

View from the other side
Time go go back. Not surprised when the journey back to the hotel shorter than the first time we started early morning. And it is still raining. Not good at all. Hoping tomorrow will be bright and sunny.

Disappointed when we didn't have the chance to look for the good place to eat. I had my list, but we have to drive and the car rent a bit expensive and also raining. Oh boy, too much reasons!

Family Vacation: Kota Kinabalu, Sabah Day 1

Hello my blog readers.

Sorry I've been away for my holiday and now I am back. Did you miss me? No? That's OK. I know you do anyway. Hehe. Fasten your seat belt as the update will start.

We left the house (my parents new house) at around 4.45am Monday morning. We took the early flight 6.45am. Kiddo is the most excited one since he loves to ride the plane. Not sure if he likes to see the beautiful flight attendants or just enjoying the travelling.

Once we arrived at LCCT, we went straight to checked-in and had breakfast at McD later on. Have to paid RM45 for the big luggage. Oh brother! When we came back hope it's not doubled the size.

We reached KKIA (Kota Kinabalu International Airport 2) around 9.15am. The weather was good, bright and sunny. Paid RM30 for taxi straight to Sutera Harbour Resort. It was not even 10 minutes drive. (No traffic jammed). Yet, we have to pay RM30! Mr. Fruitheart said that was standard rate. Oh well. Check in time was 12pm, and we arrived too early. So we took the tour around the hotel. Loving it! Beautiful view of the South China Sea, the harbour and we can see some fishes swimming near the dock.

There's two kind of small pond like this

Harbour and dock view

Sea view, from pool side

Since it was so hot and kiddo was sweating, and a little bit grumpy (he just can't wait to step into the pool), we decided to have our brunch. Cafe Boleh was it name. First time in my whole life until that day, I saw a 'nasi lemak' for RM38.

The menu
The expensive 'nasi lemak' I've ever seen in the menu. We ordered vanilla ice cream for kiddo, french toast for me and omelette for Mr. Fruitheart. Total all RM87. Expected it.

View from our window

Another side view from our window
It's time for check in. Not that lucky because we had to wait for our deluxe sea view room to be ready. They had some problems with the aircond and need to fix it. They gave us temporary room which facing the gold course and single bed. We told them if the room was OK, then we will take it. Looking at it, nah ah ah. We will wait for our room to be fixed. So we decided to go for a sight seeing around KK town. So we took a taxi RM15 and stopped at Centre Point Sabah.

Upon entering the mall, we felt that we were in Low Yat Plaza or Sungai Wang. A lot of shoppers and the surroundings are much alike. Then we walked out of the mall and around town, trying to find a good nice place to eat. A bit disappointed because we did not find any, so we stopped at one restaurant named, Java.We had curry mee, chicken rice and took away three meals for dinner later. There was no nearest shop to Sutera Harbour. We have to walk around 10-15 minutes to the nearest food outlet which the concierge man said, we have to cross two highways.

Around 5pm, we reached the hotel and changed to our swimming attire. Time to cool off. At night, we just lay on the bed and enjoyed our ASTRO HBO channel. Too bad it's raining and we don't have the chance to go out and see the beautiful view of the place.

Friday Humor: The Hotel Bill

A friend forwarded to me.

An elderly lady decided to give herself a big treat for her significant birthday by staying overnight in one of London 's most expensive hotels.

When she checked out next morning, the desk clerk handed her a bill for £250.00. She exploded and demanded to know why the charge was so high. "It's a nice hotel but the rooms certainly aren't worth £250.00 for just an overnight stop without even breakfast." The clerk told her that £250.00 is the 'standard rate' so she insisted on speaking to the Manager.

The Manager appeared and forewarned by the desk clerk announced, "The hotel has an Olympic-sized pool, gym and jacuzzi, and a huge conference centre which are available for use."

"But I didn't use them," she said.

''Well, they are here, and you could have," explained the Manager.

He went on to explain that she could also have seen one of the in-hotel shows for which the hotel is famous.
"We have the best entertainers from Edinburgh , Glasgow , and Aberdeen performing here," the Manager said.

"But I didn't go to any of those shows," she said.

"Well, we have them, and you could have," the Manager replied.

No matter what amenity the Manager mentioned, she replied, "But I didn't use it!"

The Manager was unmoved, so she decided to pay, wrote a cheque and gave it to the Manager. The Manager was surprised when he looked at the cheque.
"But madam, this cheque is only made out for £50.00."

''That's correct. I charged you £200.00 for sleeping with me," she replied.

"But I didn't!" exclaims the very surprised Manager.

"Well, too bad, I was here, and you could have!"

He Is My Seth Tan

Still in the mood to update about Nora Elena and Seth Tan. Gosh! I have fallen head over heels with this.

Have you watched today's episode? NO??!! Such a waste. I love the part he surprised Nora Elena with flowers in car boot. OK! That is so damn sweet. A surprise. I have been told by a friend, stop dreaming for a guy that is like Seth Tan. Sweet, loving, caring and good looking. Complete package I would say. That kind of guy only exist in drama, sort of like fairytale I tell you. In real life, out of ten you'll only find one. And, you are that lucky girl to get one.

He is my Seth Tan. Handsome than the real Seth Tan?

Mr. Fruitheart

Nora Elena and Seth Tan

New drama, actually not new also - Nora Elena. I watched the first episode and got hooked! Usually I don't watch drama, long time left the 'addiction'. Now my addition is back. And it's bad because the show starts from 7pm to 8pm. Grr.. why do they have to air it at that time?

I have missed it few times. Hopefully today I can go back on time. 6 pm sharp. I know I can watch it from live streaming or tonton.my, but the excitement is not there.

Until now, I don't know what is so good about the drama. But, I enjoyed watching it. Husband and wife, trying to get along together because she married the stranger after being left by her fiance. All those sweet things the husband did to woo the wife. Funny things happen while they're going through their marriage. Oh, to me it's a typical Malay movie. For sure I know how it ends. Of course happy ending. Hehe. And I know, a lot of women out there would want their hubby to be like Seth Tan, and the man would love their girlfriend, wife to be pretty as Nora Elena. Right?

I won't be telling here what the story/drama is all about. And I know lots of my blogger friends, facebook, and twitterland friends are watching it. I think I'm going to miss the show for 4 days next week. Ahh, don't care. My vacation is much more exciting. Haha. Sabah here we come.

P/S: I have a sweet hubby too and I am happily taken.
