Favourite Poem of The Week #48 - God Took Her To His Loving Home

God saw her getting tired, a cure was not to be.
He wrapped her in his loving arms and whispered ‘Come with me.’
She suffered much in silence, her spirit did not bend.
She faced her pain with courage, until the very end.
She tried so hard to stay with us but her fight was not in vain,
God took her to His loving home and freed her from the pain.

Favourite Quote of The Week #47 - Workflow

“One source of frustration in the workplace is the frequent mismatch between what people must do and what people can do. When what they must do exceeds their capabilities, the result is anxiety. When what they must do falls short of their capabilities, the result is boredom. But when the match is just right, the results can be glorious. This is the essence of flow.”

Happy 1st Birthday Nur Rania Azzalea

I still couldn't believe that 365 days has passed since I gave birth to my youngest daughter Rania. How time really flies and noticing that I am getting.. older and wiser. HEHE.

Today I have the chance to update my blog. A friend of mine once said, you can update, upload your child stories, pictures and record every milestone of your child's achievement when you have only 1. Now I have 3 and I don't have enough time to update my blog. She is so right!

Birthday cake made by Mr. Fruitheart's cousin, Nisa and sponsored by Grandma Bo. 3KG chocolate cake.

You're as cute as a bug
So precious to hug
A darling child
Who's nice to be near.
So.. hope turning one
Is happy and fun
And takes you along
To a second great year

Dear Rania,
Mama would like to say THANK YOU so much for being my daughter. I will always let you know that I love you so much. No words or action can describe how your daddy and I love you with all our heart. At this age, you know what is cat and bird. You can say, NAK (I want) and MAMA. Yes, you said MAMA first and not DADDY. HAHA.

Sometimes we kind of heard you say.. NAK DUDUK (I want to sit). You know who is your big brother and big sister. Let me tell you in advance, you will love each other because you are siblings and related by blood. There are times where you have siblings fight. Even now you already have it. It happens to every family. No matter what honey, please stay together forever.

Now you have 4 upper teeth and 3 front bottom teeth. You had your first tooth at 6 months old. You don't like to eat those puree stuff, except for mango puree. Last 2 months only you enjoy eating porridge however you are easily bored.

You are loved and liked by everyone. You like to watch those nursery rhymes on you tube and your current favorite is "If You're Happy". You know how to clap your hands since 10 months old, you stomp your feet when I said stomp and when it comes to "If you scared, scared, scared say Oh no!" and you will put both hands up and shake it. You are so adorable! You have the sweetest smile and you always smile when you woke up in the morning. And you eat and drink milk a lot too. Last time we went for checkup, your weight is 10KG.

I pray and hope you will have a good life, be happy always and thankful of what you have. I wish all your dreams to come true.

Rania, my little darling, may every year of your life be as happy-go-lucky as your first one. I love you just the way you are. Happy 1st birthday!
P/S: I know you may not know how important this day is just yet, but trust me, one day I hope you will understand just how much you mean to me. Daddy, mama, abg Syahmie and kakak Arissa loves you so much.

She Had Chickenpox and The New Found Remedy

I have little time to update my blog. Gosh! How busy and time flies so fast these days.

Alhamdulillah, baby girl's birthday and aqiqah went well last Saturday. I will post update about it soon. And it just has to happen a week before her 1st birthday, she had chickenpox. I saw some red spots looked like rashes on her tummy. And I thought it was nothing. On the next morning, I saw more red spots on her legs, thighs and hands. Definitely chickenpox Mr. Fruitheart said. *Cries*

So I worked from home the whole week to take care of her and keep on praying her big sister or brother would not get infected. Yes, they had it before. But, they can have it again. On the second day, Mr. Fruitheart's boss in UK told him to mix warm water with brown vinegar when we bath baby girl. Now where do I get those? I Googled and found this:

No brown vinegar, but brown rice vinegar. I told myself, sama la tu.

Thank God Mr. Fruitheart found it at Jaya Grocer in the organic section. RM15.90. Phew! And after 3 days, her red spots lessen and by Friday just before her birthday celebration, no more red spots. Yay! Works well, wonderdul! Yes, and she smells like potato chips for few days. I feel like munching her. HAHA. And, the bad side of it of course our bathroom stinks.

The traditional way, my older relatives told me to find 'daun semambu'. I remember when I was little my parents used to gave me that. But where I can find here in KL? So, in the future I know what to do and suggest to other parents.

P/S: I love this new finding and solution.

Favourite Quote of The Week #46 - Change

“I have looked in the mirror every morning and asked myself: ‘If today were the last day of my life, would I want to do what I am about to do today?’ And whenever the answer has been ‘No’ for too many days in a row, I know I need to change something.”

My Children's Babysitter

One of the challenges we have is to find babysitter for our kids when we have to go out without them. Usually when I watched those Hollywood movies, they have babysitter service when even a 12 or 13 year old can babysit. But I doubt we have that in Malaysia.

I called my brothers and asked them to help look after my children. They agreed. Just because they love their nephew and nieces too much. And my children loves them too. The smiling face and yes-I-can-do-anything-without-mommy-around-to-yell kind of happiness.

I always pray for my children to be well behaved and thank God they didn't make any trouble like crying non-stop or making huge mess. They made their favourite uncles life easy. Of course I checked on them every hour and my brother posted pictures, and told us what they did bla bla bla.. Report is important. HAHA. So the mother not worried and can eat peacefully.

Both pictures were taken when they were at my parents house. We went to the hospital to visit my mother on last weekend. And below were pictures taken when both of us attending Mr. Fruitheart's company dinner.

Our second daughter as usual was the last one to sleep. This time in front of the TV. There will be next time.

P/S: Counting days to send 'THE LETTER'. Full of hope.

Testing His Cooking Skills

On last Sunday, Mr. Fruitheart went to the kitchen and tested his cooking skills again. This time he made grilled chicken and salmon.

Grilled chicken with mixed veggie and cherry tomatoes.

And this was for his lunch. Grilled salmon with broccoli and cherry tomatoes.

I have to admit, he is getting better in cooking. So I can wish that one day he made my lunch, dinner and breakfast soon. HEHE. Making this type of meals are easy. Not many ingredients and much time spent. Only when you do it for the first time, it may take longer time to complete.

P/S: I don't have to worry if I am away because I know, they would not be hungry.
