Favourite Quotes of the Week #31 2015 - Learning

Back to the Park

It has been more than a month our kids didn't visit the park. We brought them there on Monday last week, after both my girls woke up from nap. They love the place, and unfortunately the Giant bubble brother is still on Raya holiday. All of them were looking forward to play with the Giant bubble. I hope I can bring them there this weekend without their daddy. Let's hope the weather is good. P/S: Ready yourself Fara to handle the kids.

10 Goals for This Week #31 2015 + Update on Last 2 Week's Goals

I have neglected my blog for sometime. Sheesh. How to be a successful blogger like this? HEHE. How's your Raya Aidilfitri celebration? Did you guys had fun? How many 'open house' that you guys went? Me - NONE! I have been ill since the first day of Raya, until today. Bad flu and coughing. I can't even smell my own children. Nose blockage. I hate when that happen.

It is the 11th day of Syawal and it's the first day Mr. Fruitheart went to India. Thankfully, it is shorter this time only one week. Phew! While he is there, we are staying with my in laws. Of course the kids are excited. Climbing up and down the stairs.

Oh and we went to our first tutorial at WOU on Saturday. After 13 years I left the 'classroom environment', it was pretty excited I would say. We are away for a while from the kids and met new people. It was a good thing the class only took us once a month. Or else, we will be having headache finding who will be taking care of the kids.

I do realise m…

Selamat Hari Raya 1436H

*Sticky post until second day of Aidilfitri.* Dear readers, I'm taking this opportunity to wish all of you happy holiday. "Selamat Hari Raya Aidilfitri".
Have a safe journey to and from your hometown. Spend good quality time with your family and relatives. I hope this day bring you and your family lots of happiness, peace and harmony. Let's take this opportunity to improve our ties with each other. Go easy on the food okay. We do not want to gain 10KG after fasting month. *wink*

P/S: Take care everyone!

Favourite Poem of The Week #29 2015 - Slow Down Mummy

Slow Down Mummy
by Rebekah Knight Slow down mummy, there is no need to rush,
slow down mummy, what is all the fuss?
Slow down mummy, make yourself a cup of tea.
Slow down mummy, come and spend some time with me. Slow down mummy, let’s put our boots on and go out for a walk,
let’s kick at piles of leaves, and smile and laugh and talk.
Slow down mummy, you look ever so tired,
come sit and snuggle under the duvet and rest with me a while. Slow down mummy, those dirty dishes can wait,
slow down mummy, lets have some fun, lets bake a cake!
Slow down mummy I know you work a lot,
but sometimes mummy, its nice when you just stop. Sit with us a minute,
& listen to our day,
spend a cherished moment,
because our childhood is not here to stay!

P/S: Sometimes I wish someone would give me a slap on the face when I started to lose my cool towards my kids.

I Love This Green!

I bought this plant at TTDI wet market. It has been a month. I've never forgot to water it so far. When I was away, I put it outside near my washing machine area. I do not remember what is it's name. Sheesh! I've been told that this plant can be inside the house or outside, water twice a day and can be exposed to direct sunlight. Easy to care. That's what I want. For now, this plant is on my kitchen top near the window. I am planning to get another one or two other plants that are easy to take care. P/S: Please don't die ya!

10 Goals for This Week #29 2015 + Update on Last Week's Goals

Wohoo! It's the raya week people, another four days for Muslims to celebrate Aidilfitri. Insyallah, we will meet again in next Ramadhan.

I will be going back to my hometown Banting on Thursday night. My boys baju Melayu is not ready yet. I may give them a call later to check on it. I have asked my dearest father to pick up my girls baju kurung.

Kuih raya? I bought them all. I don't have that much time to bake. The house is clean, yay! The cleaner ladies came on Saturday. Sweeping I don't mind doing, I just need them to do other stuff like removed all the cob webs, clean the bathroom floor, wipe the sliding door glass and window.

Another thing I hate to do is packing. I have to pack for five person including myself. I have made the list, phew! Perhaps I'll do that on Thursday.

Oh and I went for my first orientation at WOU. My class will start on 25th July. At one point, I do not if I can do this. Everything is paid and I-MUST-CONTINUE-STUDY-AND-DON'T-GIVE-UP-YET! I pray…

Our Berbuka Puasa Date - Chinoz KLCC

Our berbuka puasa date was on June 27th. It took me almost 3 weeks to update. Sheesh. Life has really been full and lazy me huh? How to be efficient blogger like this? HEHE.

My sister in law was in charged of taking care the kids while we were away. It's only four hours Fara, chill. Nothing serious happened OK? They had fun. You just gotta let go slowly. Alright.. alright.. I hear ya head. Please talk to the heart when you have time OK. Conflict between the head and heart.

We had our breakfasting date at Chinoz KLCC. We wanted to eat at either Madam Kwan or Chakri Palace. It was 4PM and all were already fully booked! So we had to choose Chinoz.

Geez. I do not remember the dish name. I have lost the receipt too.

Overall, it was a OK. Average. Not that good not that bad. The most important thing, we enjoyed our moment together without the kids. However, there will always a conversation about the kids when we are together. HAHA. So what do you actually talk when you are alone with your …

8 Goals for This Week #28 2015 + Update on Last Week's Goals

It is the 19th of Ramadhan. I've heard Raya songs played on the radio and shopping malls since last week. This week it's going to be more as Aidilfitri getting nearer.

We went back to my father's house during weekend and met my nephew, Ayden. He looks like his mother. His weight 3.19KG. Almost the same as my baby girl. Talking about my baby girl, she was so busy feeding the baby. Both of them were so excited to see ALIVE baby for the first time. They played with his hair, his cheek, his mouth.. and wanted to poke his eyes. And this came from Mr. Fruitheart.. Baby girl needs a brother.

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!

I planned to bake one type of cookie during weekend and it never happened. I don't know where my time went. All I know it is already buka puasa and time to sleep.

Here are this week's goals:

Mothering/Marriage/Family:
Pack snacks for girls when we're away for orientation.
Sort girls clothes and donate or sell any that don’t fit.
Review and delete …
