My New Kitchen Toy - NOXXA

Ehem.. Yours truly has a new toy added into her kitchen. It is non other than the NOXXA pressure cooker from AMWAY. I thing it is the most expensive tools so far. RM647. I paid in installment of course. Plus, I got it while Mr. Fruitheart was in India.

In addition to that, I got the rice dispenser as free gift. Wohoo! It is in my list, and now it came to me FREE. I have no idea the rice dispenser actual price, maybe it is RM200++?

Not the color I want, oh well.. Since it is free. Just take it.

First time I made a chicken soup in it. Less than 10 minutes. Next, I cooked fried spaghetti which did not turn out well. I do not know how much water I should put inside there. Failed big time. And last weekend, I cooked fried noodle. A bit wet and not dry like usual. In the recipe, it said 5 cups of water and maybe I can make it only 4 cups next time. It taste OK and it was done in 3 minutes. Even Mr. Fruitheart was impressed.

Below is before.

And here is after 3 minutes.

Mr. Fruitheart's 34th Birthday

Mr. Fruitheart's birthday was on 17th Aug. And, I only got the chance to update it today. So much to tell, with so little time. He couldn't have an off day on Monday, so we celebrated the next day. All I can say, he had a wonderful celebration with me, his beloved wife. *Grin*

We started off the day with breakfast at La Bodega, Jln. Telawi. I had a big breakfast which I couldn't believe I finished it. I must be so hungry then.

After we are done with breakfast, we headed home. While Mr. Fruitheart went to the gym, I took the chance cleaning the house. Phew! I should have just read my book right? Can't just let the house in a mess eh Fara? We went out again for lunch, yes peeps a day full of eating. We had lunch at Tony Roma's, because Mr. Fruitheart feels like having a steak that day. Your wish is my command honey!

Chicken soup and shrimp scampi pasta for me. Oh yes, I finished it all. I think my husband had the New York strip. He loved it. Oh and we saw Mr. Hans Isaac…

8 Goals for This Week #34 2015 + Update on Last Week's Goals

Brand new Monday, brand new week and it is already middle of August. How time flies. It feels like I already saw Monday yesterday and it is Monday next day. No one even bother to answer why is Monday too far from Friday but Friday is near to Monday. No one knows? I hope this weekend, we will only be staying at home, doing our family thing like napping and cleaning the house.. AGAIN? HEHE.

I need to read more and improve on my time management. It is still not 'there'. I am way behind schedule, a lot of reading to be done. Ugh!

Here are this week's goals:

Mothering/Marriage/Family:
Less yelling and frustration with my children.
Have an at home family movie night.
Make a detailed weekly schedule with all appointment and task written out.

Home management:
Sort my children's clothes and donate or sell any that don't fit.
Update preloved album in FB.
Figure out meal plan for week 35.

Personal:
Spend at least 30 minutes to study - consistently!
