Wedding Anniversary - Fifth Year 250915

"When talking about marriage, Allah says your spouses are garments for you. A garment may or may not fit perfectly - but either way, it covers imperfections, protects and beautifies." - Yasmin Mogahed

It has been 1825 days of us together as husband and wife as of 25th September 2015 OK. *SMILE*. We had a nice dinner at NY Steak Shack, which is located inside IOI City Mall Putrajaya. It is a must to have either dinner or lunch for our anniversary every year. We should do something different honey. Our goal for 10th anniversary is to celebrate in Europe. Maybe we are riding on a gondola cruising Venice river in 2020. HEHE.

And above picture was my meal. NYSS mixed grill - a nice combo of chicken, rib eye and fish fillet served. While Mr. Fruitheart had rib eye steak. Delicious! We liked the food, just that the restaurant was packed and small. They should lower down their sound system too. which I find it rather loud.

P/S: Let's annoy each other more shall we dear? HEHE.

Family Vacation 2015 - Krabi Day 4

Our last day.

Last breakfast at the hotel's restaurant and last view of the nice swimming pool with children's awesome slides.

It is such a beautiful bright sunny day when we left. We are sure going to miss our vacation in Krabi and one day we will return. Till next time.

P/S: Planning for a one week holiday at the end of 2016.

Family Vacation 2015 - Krabi Day 3

On our third day in Krabi, we didn't do much. We went to Tupkaek Beach.

We saw the black clouds coming and yeah, after we reached there it rain. And my children doesn't like beach, they wanted to go back to the hotel to invade the pool.. AGAIN. So, we went back to the hotel.

While I entertained my children in the pool, Mr. Fruitheart went for a foot massage. After he is done, my turn to go for a full body massage. It was very nice and relaxing. While waiting for their mother, the kids had fun at the hotel's kid's club. Drawing, coloring, playing games and doing lots of other activities.

We had our dinner at Bamboo Restaurant Ao Nang Krabi. My boy had pizza which well, not like the pizza he used to taste. Poor boy. My youngest fell asleep, she's so tired after whole day full of activity.

Sorry girl, you had a bad fringes there because of me.

After our delicious dinner, we went souvenirs hunting to the row of shops along Ao Nang beach. I was surprised to see lots of foreigners like from Nepal working there too. I asked one of the lady and she said she has been staying in Krabi for more than 2 years. Even her family are there too. And she loved Krabi. Who doesn't I said back with a smile.

And that's the end of our day. Tomorrow we will be going home. Sobs. Fun time sure pass us by so fast.

P/S: Right now, I feel like going to a nice long holiday again. Ugh!

Family Vacation 2015 - Krabi Day 2

On our second day in Krabi, we went to the few famous places suggested by our friendly and kind tuk-tuk driver which I totally forgot his name. Sheesh.

Our first stop was the Giant Catfish Farm located 10 minutes drive from the hotel. My children love fish. We were greeted by a very nice and friendly lady who is not local. I didn't get the chance to ask where she's from. The area is filled with ponds and few aquariums. It feels like going to a jungle trekking. In addition to the catfish, there are also turtles and crocodiles. We saw a wild boar and boy we were scared when it came out from it's shed. It was huge and black and yeah ugly. HAHA. We left the place. Sadly to say, the place is not maintained. They could have at least clear the passage for tourist to walk.

Next, we went to the outdoor aquarium. I thought the aquarium was somewhat like what we saw in Aquaria KLCC. NOT. The centre houses different kinds of marine life - mostly fishes being put in a large saltwater lakes which will be released later back into the sea. There were also Hawksbill turtles, sharks and some giant groupers which I wouldn't dare go near them if I ever swim in the sea. Our favourite were tanks filled with baby ‘Nemos’, or anemone clown fish. Wish I could keep them. Same as the Giant Catfish farm, some sections of the site are not well maintained.

The centre is located on the right-hand side of the main road through Ao Nam Mao, approximately 1km before Fossil Shell beach which is the next place we went.

We visited the Fossil Shell Beach at around 11.30AM Krabi time. It was a very sunny day and honestly nothing much or fun there. My girls were afraid of the dead crabs they saw on the rocks. We left the place after spending about 10 minutes there.

They said, every trip is not complete if we did not go for an elephant ride. We were all excited and it was our first time riding on an elephant. My eldest and youngest ride on a male elephant with Mr. Fruitheart while me and my other daughter ride on a female elephant. Both my girls were a bit afraid of the elephant. Overall, they enjoyed it and even asked for more ride in the future.

So that's the story of our second day. Pictures will be uploaded later.

P/S: My long overdue post. Life is too full.
